  3. Great photos, we love to hike and camp and have travled through the lower Sierra Nevada, and the old growth forest which we fell in love with. The west has a lot of breathtaking vistas to appreciate and experience.

    That must be very high! I wonder if you got to clime into it! Was anyone else there with you?

  9. Hi friends. So good to see so many posts about the pictures. Now what about those books? I'm home sick while you all play play play at field day(and I must say the weather looks glorious!) And what's this about less homework? I said EVENTUALLY you'd have to blog for a hw assignment, but you're not off the hook yet!! Brooke, I was actually in the bottom of that Canyon called the River Narrows, walking upward and DEFINITELY NOT TO THE TOP. It was so vast I think we covered minimal miles even though it took more than 4 1/2 hours. Who knows how long it would've taken for the whole trek. My husband and I did this together and had to rent special shoes and a hiking stick. Very different from hiking around the mountains here. At some points, the water was at our chins while we hiked around turns and curves in between the main picture you see.
